Why Graflr NFTs are a bad choice for money laundering

Just don't. Please don't.

OK, I know it's a bit awkward, but I really don't have time to get involved. I just want to help out artists, and have everyone stay within the laws.

Quick Facts:

  • The blockchains Graflr uses are not private. User wallet addresses are public. (Private keys should remain with your wallet solution.)

  • Graflr is about minting the moment. That moment may include:

    • Your face, other faces around you

    • Your location (VIP may have shared it, even if you did not)

    • The time the photo was taken

  • The NFT has cryptographic proof the NFT form was signed by your private key. And the time I am pretty sure is available for that, as the public indexers take over from there to list the NFT in the marketplaces.
